Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use StrangerTest at strangertest.app. In them, “StrangerTest”, “we” and “us” mean the StrangerTest service and the people who run it, and “you” means the person or business using it. By starting a scan or buying one, you agree to them.

StrangerTest is automated, browser-based software. You give it the web address of a product. Independent AI users — software agents, not people — visit that product in a real browser, and a separate automated judge decides which of their experiences the evidence supports. The result is a report, kept in the account or at the link the scan belongs to.

All of this is done by software. StrangerTest is not a consulting, agency, auditing or human testing service: no person tests your product, reviews your report or advises you as part of a purchase. Reports describe what automated users experienced and what the evidence supports. They are not professional, legal, security, accessibility or compliance advice.

• ·Free Scan — free, with no account. 3 AI users explore your public product surface.
• ·Full Scan — $29, one-time. 5 AI users go further, including signing up and using signed-in areas where it is safe to do so. A Full Scan does not include a Retest.
• ·Retest — $9, one-time. An automated re-test of the fixes you made after a Full Scan. It is available only from an eligible completed Full Scan in your account, and is not sold on its own.

There is no subscription and nothing renews. Prices are in US dollars; any sales tax or VAT is calculated and shown at checkout.

Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as reseller and merchant of record, and Lemon Squeezy’s own buyer terms also apply to the payment. Card details are entered only on Lemon Squeezy’s checkout and never reach us. A purchase is added to your StrangerTest account when Lemon Squeezy confirms the payment to us.

A purchase, and the scan it pays for, is delivered automatically inside your StrangerTest account. A purchase is used up only when the scan it pays for completes. If a scan stops because of a failure on our side, the purchase is not used up and you can run it again. The Refund Policy explains when you can have your money back instead.

• ·Only submit products you own or are authorised to test.
• ·If you give us credentials, they must be for a test account you control — never an account that belongs to someone else.
• ·During a Full Scan the AI users may create throwaway test accounts in your product and use it the way a new user would. By starting a Full Scan you authorise this.
• ·Do not use StrangerTest to test a product you are not permitted to test, to overload, attack or scrape any service, or to get around the limits on Free Scans.

Our AI users are refused buying, paying, subscribing, booking, sending messages, deleting anything, uploading files and submitting real personal data. The full list is on the Data and safety page.

A scan may find no problem that meets our evidence bar. That is a valid, delivered result, not a failure. Automated users can miss problems and automated judgements can be wrong, which is why every finding carries the evidence behind it. We do not guarantee any number or kind of findings, or any business result.

You keep all rights in your product. You let us visit it, record what our AI users see and do, and store and process that evidence to produce and show your report. How credentials are handled, what is stored, for how long, and who can reach a report are set out on the Data and safety page, which forms part of these terms. We do not use your product as an example for anyone else without asking you first.

We work to keep StrangerTest available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change or improve how scans work. A price change never affects a purchase you have already made.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about StrangerTest is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase that gives rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability, or any right you have, that cannot be limited by law.

You must be at least 18, and you must use StrangerTest for a business or professional purpose.

You can stop using StrangerTest at any time, and ask us to delete your account or any scan. We may suspend access if these terms are broken, particularly section 5.

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already made.
